It provides a web application, REST API, bulk CSV verification and free diagnostic tools. Last reviewed: 2026-08-27 Canonical facts and evidence scope: https://bouncezero.io/product-facts ## What the product does - Five-stage verification: syntax, DNS/MX, SMTP/provider analysis, domain intelligence and probabilistic scoring. - Detects or flags invalid addresses, disposable domains, role addresses, catch-all behavior, spam-trap risk, MX failures and syntax errors. - Returns Deliverable, Risky, Undeliverable or Unknown, plus a confidence score and supporting fields. - Evaluates and/or returns 65+ verification and metadata fields across the full pipeline. This does not mean 65 independent models run for every provider. - Does not send a test email; SMTP verification checks whether a recipient would be accepted without delivering a message. ## Evidence and limitations - Accuracy: internal testing reports up to 99.8% on SMTP-verifiable addresses. This is vendor-reported, not an independent benchmark. Catch-all and provider-blocked mailboxes are probabilistic and may be returned as Risky or Unknown. - Response time: provider-dependent. Cached and deterministic checks may be sub-second; fresh SMTP and provider-specific checks can take several seconds.
